Founding & Managing Attorney
Michelle Shvarts is the founding and managing attorney of Disability Advocates Group.
Michelle Shvarts is the founding and managing attorney of Disability Advocates Group. She earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA and graduated from UCLA School of Law. After beginning her career in civil litigation, she shifted her practice to focus on representing individuals who are unable to work due to disabling medical conditions.
Ms. Shvarts is licensed to practice law in California and represents SSDI and SSI claimants nationwide in matters before the Social Security Administration. For more than fifteen years, she has led a team dedicated to guiding clients through the disability benefits process with clarity, preparation, and compassionate advocacy.
Recognizing how confusing the SSDI/SSI process can be, Ms. Shvarts and the DAG team helped develop SSDI Answers as a public educational resource so individuals and families can better understand eligibility, documentation, and next steps before and during the claims process.
